Iggy and The Stooges headline the first night with Plan B taking over the honor the second night.

Meltdown Festival is set for June 10-19 at Southbank Centre.

Ray Davies has been named the 2011 event’s artistic director.

“I am thrilled to be asked to suggest what I hope will be a diverse programme, particularly as it marks the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain,” Davies said in a statement posted by BBC News.

Perhaps the former Kinks frontman will call up some of his buddies from his collaborative album See My Friends. The album, which was released earlier this month, features Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Spoon, Black Francis, Metallica and Billy Corgan.

Previous Meltdown curators include David Bowie, Morrissey, Nick Cave and Patti Smith.

The full lineup will be announced in early 2011.
