Sarah McLachlan adds a slew of new dates for her Sarah & Friends tour, maybe even one for your town.

What’s new on McLachlan’s schedule? A second night in New York City at the Beacon Theatre Jan. 13; a gig in Indianapolis at the Murat Theatre Feb. 17 and several additions in the western states, including Seattle’s Paramount Theatre Feb. 4; Los Angeles at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live Feb. 9; Phoenix at the Comerica Theatre Feb. 11 and Denver’s Paramount Theatre Feb. 15.

Touring in support of her Laws Of Illusion album the Sarah & Friends tour also features performances by Butterfly Boucher and Melissa McClelland, who toured with McLachlan on summer’s Lilith Fair outing.

    I saw that tour in Cincinnati recently.  The show was excellent.  It was wonderful that Sarah shared the stage with her friends.  It was too bad that Lilith Fair crashed and burned last summer.  Maybe some good can come out of it though.  Maybe Sarah and other artists will learn not to listen to and let Live Nation sell out their fans with outrageous ticket prices.  Remember, if fans can't afford the best seats, let alone those further back, they won't buy tickets.
