Lyrics Born Nails Down 2011 Dates

Picking up where he left off on his “Auto Reverse” tour, indie hip-hop vet Lyrics Born launches his 2011 tour next month in Arizona.

Touring in support of his As U Were album released on Decon in October, Lyrics Born promises to bring all the sizzle his shows are known for, including his full live band known as the Lyrics Born Mixed Re-View featuring DJ D-Sharp and Joyo Velarde.

Presented by technology outfit VTECH, the As U Were world tour begins in Flagstaff, Ariz., at the Orpheum Theatre Jan. 13, then heads north to Colorado for a show in Durango at the Abbey Theatre followed by a stop in Telluride at The Llama.

Other stops include Denver at the Oriental Theatre Jan. 21; Minneapolis at The Cabooze Jan. 28; Chicago’s Abbey Pub Jan. 29; Portland, Maine, at the Port City Music Hall Feb. 3; NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl Feb. 5 and the Winterfest in Bend, Ore., Feb. 19.
