A ‘Snowy Celebration’ From SCI

11:01 AM Thursday 1/6/11 | |

The String Cheese Incident announces its Winter Carnival, set for March in the winter wonderland known as Colorado.

Described as a “Snowy Celebration,” the band’s latest Winter Carnival is set for March 10-12 in Broomfield, Colo., at the 1STBANK Center. Appearing with SCI will be Brit producer / electro-artist Ott March 10, J.D. Crowe & The New South March 11 and Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk March 12.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a String Cheese event without a Conscious Alliance Food Drive. A three-panel poster is being worked up for the Winter Carnival and limited editions will be made available to fans who contribute 10 non-perishable food items per panel or 25 items for the complete set.

Tickets are priced at $55 with the SCI Ticketing pre-sale beginning Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. while the public onsale begins Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. All times Mountain Standard. Each ticket purchased comes with a free download of the evening show that will be made available through the LiveCheese website. “Enhanced Incident” tickets and travel packages become available Jan. 12.
