McLachlan Adds More Shows

02:01 PM Monday 1/10/11 |   |

The Sarah McLachlan & Friends tour continues to grow as the songstress fills out her mid-March calendar with new show listings for Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kentucky and Michigan.

Touring in support of Laws Of Illusion, her first album of new material in seven years, McLachlan’s current tour has been well-received by fans as well as critics. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review described her show as “an unforgettable evening with her lullaby-like voice, moving lyrics and engaging stage charisma” while the Dallas Morning Sun said she was “personable, engaging and in great voice.”

But the spotlight isn’t just shining on McLachlan during this tour. Butterfly Boucher and Melissa McClelland make up the “… And Friends” portion of each night with their own short sets, turning each evening into something akin to a mini Lilith Fair.

The new additions to the tour are March 9 in Minneapolis at the Orpheum Theatre; March 11 in Milwaukee at the Riverside Theatre; March 12 in Chicago at the Chicago Theatre; March 13 in Louisville at the Palace Theatre and March 14 in E. Lansing, Mich., at the Wharton Center.

Tickets go on sale this week. For more information, click here for the Sarah McLachlan website.
