Good Charlotte Puts Its Heart Into Cardiology Tour

12:01 PM Friday 1/14/11 |   |

Good Charlotte is squeezing in a North American trek in between previously announced European and Australia dates as the pop punk band tours like mad in support of its fifth studio album.

Cardiology was released in November through Capitol Records as the follow-up to 2007’s Good Morning Revival.

The North American tour kicks off March 3 at Center Stage in Atlanta, Ga., with dates on the books through a March 27 gig at House Of Blues in Anaheim, Calif.

Additional dates include Theatre Of The Living Arts in Philadelphia (March 6), Irving Plaza in New York (March 8), House Of Blues in Chicago (March 15), Summit Music Hall in Denver (March 18) and The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco (March 25).

Forever The Sickest Kids and This Century will get the crowd warmed up. Both bands have been booked for all North American dates.

Tickets go on sale beginning Thursday, Jan. 20.

Good Charlotte’s European tour begins Jan. 21 at Gasometer in Vienna, Austria. After playing Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, France and Ireland, the trek wraps up nearly a dozen United Kingdom dates booked Feb. 6-19.

The guys kick off April with two performances at Japan’s Punkspring festival, April 1-2.

Australian dates are booked April 8-15.
