Willie Nelson Headlines Throwdown

The Redheaded Stranger headlines this year’s Country Throwdown Tour, topping a bill featuring Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Brantley Gilbert, Craig Campbell, Lee Brice, Lukas Nelson.

“Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown Tour” begins in Philadelphia at the Mann Center For The Performing Arts May 27. Other locations include Gilford, N.H., at the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion May 28; Essex Junction, Vt, at Champlain Valley Exposition May 29 and Nashville at The Woods Of Fontanel Mansion June 3.

Other cities on the tour include Little Rock (June 4), Sparta, Ill. (June 11), Roanoke Rapids, N.C. (June 16), Simpsonville, S.C. (June 17), Waldorf, Md. (June 18), Knoxville, Tenn. (June 19), Del Mar, Calif. (June 23), Ontario, Calif. (June 24), Pozo, Calif. (Pozo Saloon (June 25), Mission, Texas (June 30), Corpus Christi (July 1) and Eufaula, Okla. (July 2).

In addition to Willie and his guests, this year’s Throwdown features the Bluebird Café Tent presenting singer-songwriters performing intimate in-the-round sets throughout the day as well as nightly shows during main stage set changes. Artists for the Bluebird Café Tent will be announced shortly.

Ticket presales begin Feb. 11 and general onsales fire up Feb. 18. A portion of the ticket price will help benefit Unite The United, the charitable outfit founded by producers of the Vans Warped Tour and Taste Of Chaos Tour to work for positive change in communities.
