More snow equals more concert changes as one of the worst blizzards in decades stomps across the nation.

Covering more than 2,000 miles, the blizzard forced schools to close, knocked down power lines, stranded motorists and paralyzed cities.

The Jagermeister Music Tour featuring Buckcherry along with All That Remains, Hellyeah and The Damned Things gets another night off with the postponement of tonight’s Waterloo, Iowa, show, at the McElroy Auditorium. The blizzard also forced the tour to postpone last night’s scheduled appearance in Chicago at the Congress Theater. Both missed shows are expected to be rescheduled.

Hinder’s Boston-area fans will only have to wait a few more days to see their heroes as tonight’s show with Saving Abel, My Darkest Days and Kopek at Beantown’s Royale Nightclub is moved to Feb. 7.

Meanwhile, Detroit-area folks looking forward to seeing The Decemberists at the Royal Oak Music Theatre tonight will have to wait a couple of months. The show has been rescheduled for April 22.

Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis has nixed tonight’s show at the Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, Mich. Word is the musicians have been delayed in Toronto. Or so says The Detroit News.

While Pollstar will update schedules as changes are received, keep in mind that your local snow situation might not be an indicator as to whether any show scheduled for tonight has been postponed or canceled. An act might be stuck in the town they played in last night or sitting in a freeway truck stop waiting for the snowplows. Your best bet is to check with the venue before heading out for the evening.
