Atmosphere Reaches For New Heights

Atmosphere lays down the routing for “The Family Tour” in support of its upcoming album, “The Family Sign.”

Joining Atmosphere’s Slug and Ant on “The Family Tour” will be keyboardist Erick Anderson, guitarist Nate Collis and label mates Blueprint, Grieves And Budo, Sab The Artist & DJ Abilities.

The journey begins in Columbus, Ohio, at the Newport Music Hall April 20 and includes stops in Boston (April 23), Philadelphia (April 24), New York City (April 26), Washington, D.C. (April 27), Birmingham, Ala. (April 30), Tucson (May 4), San Diego (May 6) and Portland, Ore. (May 19).

There’s also a healthy run of Canada’s western towns with Atmosphere playing Vancouver (May 11), Calgary (May 12), Edmonton (May 13) and Saskatoon (May 14) before heading to Boulder, Colo., for a show at the Fox Theatre May 17.

Atmosphere’s spring tour also features what will be the band’s largest headlining date – May 7 in Berkeley, Calif., at the Greek Theatre, topping a bill that also includes Aesop Rock, Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz.
