That’s right, no bands were mentioned in today’s lineup. In fact, other than the dates, the only other tidbit of information revealed today is the location – Chicago’s Union Park –and the ticket onsale that launches March 4.
But lack of a lineup shouldn’t be a problem for fans making their summer plans. Last year’s Pitchfork Music Festival sold out within a week of going onsale.
Speaking of last year’s extravaganza, Pitchfork 2010 included performances by Broken Social Scene, Modest Mouse, Pavement, LCD Soundsystem, Wolf Parade and The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
Normally we’d direct you to the festival’s website for more information but we’ve already told you everything PitchforkMusicFestival.com is pushing right now. However, you might want to click here just to be sure.
