Have A Holly Jolly Mayan Holidaze

Although the 2011 edition of Mayan Holidaze wrapped up less than two months ago, it’s never to early to start planning ahead. Tickets for next year’s jamming Cancun adventure go on sale soon.

The destination music event is set for Jan. 26-30 at Now Sapphire Resort. Mayan Holidaze 2012 will once again feature two shows from Disco Biscuits, Umphrey’s McGee and STS9. An additional special set will be announced soon along with support acts, late night sets, and poolside performances.

The New Sapphire Resort & Spa is located in the small fishing town of Puerto Morelos, 15 minutes south of Cancun in the Mayan Riviera.

The all-inclusive resort features spacious suites with ocean views, an on-site spa, gourmet restaurants and beachfront palapas.

A total of 400 rooms will be available to Mayan Holidaze attendees. Tropical view rooms start at $999 per person and oceanfront rooms start at $1,399 per person. A limited number of rooms are available for families who want to bring this children.

Fans who have attended past editions of Mayan Holidaze will get first dibs on 2012 tickets with an exclusive presale March 15 and 16.

The general public will get the chance to purchase the remaining rooms on March 16.
