Camp Bisco Turns 10

03:01 PM Monday 3/21/11 |   |

Who’s appearing at the 10th annual Camp Bisco? That is, in addition to the Disco Biscuits? The short list includes Cut Copy, Wiz Khalifa, Bassnectar and Pretty Lights. As to the long list – you’ll find that inside.

Founded by Disco Biscuits, Camp Bisco recently gave the world a peak at its 100+ artist lineup. In addition to the acts listed above, this year’s three-day extravaganza scheduled for July 7-9 at Indian Lookout Country Club includes Death From Above 1979, MSTRKRFT, Ghostland Observatory, Yeasayer, Rusko, Lotus, Wolfgang Gartner, Skrillex and Neon Indian on its talent heavy lineup.

Although the daily logistics regarding which bands play which stages haven’t been worked out, the Disco Biscuits will keep the Camp Bisco tradition going by performing each evening. Nice to know there are still a few things in this world you can count on.

Along with the usual features introduced in Camp Bisco 9 such as a second stage on the main field, surround sound system late night dance tents and a local artist stage, organizers have added a second main gate to handle the multitudes plus daily workshops and seminars. Bisco No. 10 is also boosting the capacity of its late night dance tent as well as establishing a second late night tent stage.

Having already sold out of its $140 “early bird” tickets, Camp Bisco is currently offering three-day passes for $160. But if doing it up VIP style is how you roll, the festival still has VIP passes ranging from $359 to $509 as well as RV passes. Visit CampBisco.net for more information.
