Reading & Leeds 2011 Lineup Announced

Reading and Leeds have announced their joint lineup with headliners including The Strokes, My Chemical Romance and Muse.

The United Kingdom festivals take place Aug. 26-28 at Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds. The events share the same lineup over the August Bank Holiday Weekend with each act playing one festival one day and the other fest one of the other two days.

My Chemical Romance headlines Reading on Friday and Leeds on Saturday. The lineup also features 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring, Deftones, Rise Against, Bring Me The Horizon, New Found Glory, The Blackout and Architects.

The NME/BBC Radio 1 stage Aug. 26/Aug. 27 lineup will include performances from Beady Eye, White Lies, Noah And The Whale, The Vaccines, Metronomy, Patrick Wolf and The Naked and Famous. The Horrors play the Festival Republic Stage.

The Strokes headline Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday, along with Pulp, The National, Jimmy Eat World, Madness, Two Door Cinema Club, Seasick Steve, The Pigeon Detectives and The Joy Formidable.

Jane’s Addiction play the NME/BBC Radio 1 stage on Aug.27/Aug. 28 in addition to sets from Crystal Castles, Bombay Bicycle Club, Special Guests, Everything Everything, The Kills and OFWGKTA. The Festival Republic Stage has lined up The Midnight Beast.

Muse closes out Reading on Sunday and plays Leeds on Friday. The English alternative band shares its Aug. 28/Aug. 26 lineup with Elbow, Interpol, Friendly Fires, Enter Shikari, The View, Frank Turner, Taking Back Sunday and We Are The Ocean.

On Aug. 28/Aug. 26 the NME/BBC Radio 1 stage will feature 2Many DJs, The Streets, Death From Above 1979, Panic! At The Disco, Warpaint, Chapel Club and Cage The Elephant. Peter Doherty plays the Festival Republic Stage.

More acts will be announced soon.

Tickets are on sale now. Weekend tickets are priced at £192.50 ($313.91), plus applicable fees. Single-day tickets are priced at £82.50 ($134.53), plus applicable fees.
