LouFest 2011 Lineup Announced

LouFest is returning to St. Louis for its second year with a lineup that includes The Roots, TV On The Radio and Cat Power.

The lineup, which was announced this week, also includes Deerhunter, !!!, The Hold Steady, Surfer Blood, Dom, Das Racist, The Low Anthem, Kings Go Forth, Lost In The Trees, Ume, Sleepy Sun, Troubadour Dali, Jumbling Towers, Old Lights and John Hardy & The Public.

The festival takes place at Aug. 27-28 at Central Field @ Forest Park. The two-day event features 18 national and local acts on two stages.

A limited number of early bird two-day passes are on sale now for $59. After those tickets are sold, the price of two-day passes will increase to $64.

VIP Experience two-day passes are available for $250. Perks include unlimited access to the backstage Lou Lounge with catering from Mike Shannon’s, an open bar, Kaldi’s coffee creations and massage therapy from InsideOut Wellness. VIP Full Access two-day passes are priced at $450 and include on-stage seating, on-site parking and a limited edition commemorative poster in addition to all of the VIP Experience perks.

The inaugural 2010 fest featured She & Him, Jeff Tweedy and Broken Social Scene.
