Glasvegas In The U.S.A.

The four-piece band from Scotland is back for a late spring run as it plays a string of U.S. dates in May and June.

Glasvegas' latest album is already available via download and will arrive in physical form May 17. Boasting an international pedigree, Euphoric /// Heartbreak \\\ was written in Santa Monica, Calif., recorded in London and features 11 tracks that Q Magazine described as “Wembley-ready glory pop.”

The tour begins in New York at Bowery Ballroom May 23. Other destinations include Washington, D.C., at the Black Cat May 24; Chicago at the Bottom Lounge May 31; Minneapolis at the Fine Line Music Café June 1; Seattle’s Crystal Ball Reading Room June 4 and San Francisco at Great American Music Hall June 7. There is one Canada date on the schedule – Toronto at Lee’s Palace May 29.

The tour introduces Glasvegas’ new drummer, Jonna Löfgren, to America. Löfgren joined the band in December 2010.
