Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel To Headline Summer Slaughter

The annual Summer Slaughter tour begins its 2011 road trip in late July with headliners The Black Dahlia Murder and Whitechapel along with Darkest Hour, Six Feet Under, Dying Fetus, As Blood Runs Black, Oceano, and Fleshgod Apocalypse. But you won’t know if they’re coming to your town until you eyeball the dates listed after the jump.

Summer Slaughter 2011 begins in Southern California at West Hollywood’s House Of Blues July 22, plays Anaheim’s The Grove July 23; Portland, Ore., at the Roseland Theatre July 25 and Seattle’s King Cat Theatre July 26. Other destinations include San Francisco (July 29), Detroit (Aug. 5), Cleveland (Aug. 7), Chicago (Aug. 8), New York (Aug. 11), Philadelphia (Aug. 13), Atlanta (Aug. 16), Houston (Aug. 20) and Dallas (Aug. 21).

Also appearing will be half-time show special guest Powerglove plus an opening act to be named by fans.
