Maha Music Festival’s Initial Lineup

04:01 PM Tuesday 4/26/11 |   |

Maha Music Festival returns in August with a lineup featuring Guided By Voices, Matisyahu and Cursive.

The one-day event takes place Aug. 13 at Lewis And Clark Landing in Omaha, Neb.

The nonprofit festival was founded in May 2009. A statement on Maha Music Festival’s website explains that the event is put on thanks to the effort of hundreds of volunteers and the support of sponsors.

“Generally, we focus on indie music. However, our primary focus is on having fun. We created MAHA for community building, not profit. This idea has been around for some time and it finally found the right group of volunteers.”
