Taking Back Sunday Reschedules U.K. Tour

02:01 PM Friday 5/6/11 |   |

Fans in the United Kingdom anxiously awaiting the arrival of Taking Back Sunday just might have to wait until the end of summer as scheduling problems force the band to move the bulk of its U.K. tour dates to August and September.

TBS was originally scheduled to commence its U.K. tour May 9 in Norwich. Now the band plans to play two dates in England this month and then pick up where they left off when they return in August. At this time it looks as if all dates have been rescheduled with the exception of the May 17 Liverpool gig which is now canceled.

The revised U.K. schedule has Taking Back Sunday playing Nottingham’s Rock City May 19 and London’s Roundhouse May 20.

The band resumes the U.K. run three months later beginning with a show at Glasgow’s ABC Aug. 23. The revised schedule has TBS playing the Manchester Academy Aug. 24; Leeds Festival Aug. 26; Reading Festival Aug. 28; the Bath Pavilion Aug. 30; the Birmingham Institute Sept. 1 and the Guildhall in Southampton Sept. 2.
