More Perfect Circle Dates

A Perfect Circle has added a few more stops to the tail end of its summer North American tour.

The trek will now wrap up Aug. 10 in Wallingford, Conn., with a gig at Toyota Presents The Oakdale Theatre.

Additional new shows include an Aug. 1 performance at Salt Lake City’s Kingsbury Hall and an Aug. 8 gig at Cincinnati’s PNC Pavilion At Riverbend.

Maynard James Kennan and the gang kicked off the band’s 2011 tour dates on Sunday with a set at Rock On The Range in Columbus, Ohio. The group’s six-week summer tour begins June 29 in Portland, Ore., at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.

Upcoming U.S. shows include Detroit (July 8); Boston (July 12); New York (July 13, 15); Philadelphia (July 16); Washington, D.C. (July 17); San Antonio, Texas (July 22); and Pittsburgh (Aug. 9).

The band has also lined up several Canadian gigs including sets at Boonstock in Gibbons, Alberta (July 2); Edgefest in Toronto (July 9) and Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest in Ontario (July 10).

Tickets for the new U.S. shows go on sale June 3. VIP packages, which offer fans a chance to attend the band’s sound check before the show, will also go on sale that day through http://aperfectcircle.frontgatetickets.com/
