Turner Plots Fall Headline Tour

Brit singer/songwriter Frank Turner has his own tour to do – a lengthy North America run beginning Sept. 20 in Connecticut.

The up-and-coming artist who has logged countless tour miles supporting other bands will see his name topping the bill when he embarks on a U.S. / Canada journey in support of his upcoming album, England Keep My Bones, scheduled to be released June 7 (June 6 in the U.K.).

The adventure begins in Danbury, Conn., at the Heirloom Arts Theatre Sept. 20. Other dates include New York’s Bowery Ballroom Sept. 21; Orlando’s The Social Sept. 27; Atlanta’s Masquerade Oct. 1; Denver at the Marquis Theatre Oct. 6; Seattle at Neumos Oct. 16; Calgary at The Republik Oct. 20; Detroit’s Magic Stick Oct. 27 and Cambridge, Mass., at Middle East Downstairs Nov. 2. Last stop listed on the routing is Philadelphia’s Theatre Of Living Arts Nov. 4.

Turner will spend most of the summer touring in Europe and the U.K., including appearing with Social Distortion on June shows slotted for Germany in Berlin and Hamburg. Turner, along with Lucero, supported Social D’s 2010 fall North America tour.
