Pacific Festival Announces 2011 Headliner

Pacific Festival’s lineup has gone to the dogs, or rather one dogg in particular. Snoop Dogg has been announced as the event’s official headliner.
The second annual festival takes place Aug. 13 at Oak Canyon Ranch in Irvine, Calif. Pacific Festival is co-hosted by electo house musician / record producer Steve Aoki and celebrity photographer The Cobra Snake.

In addition to performances from Snoop Dogg and Aoki, the lineup features over 50 live acts and DJs including Cut Copy, Calvin Harris, Ghostland Observatory, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), Phantogram, Toro Y Moi, Bag Raiders, Zeds Dead, The Twelves, Classixx, Fred Falke, AfroMan, Zoot Woman, The Growlers, Hanni El Khatib, Justin Miller, The C90’s and more.
According to a post on the festival’s website, there’s a rumor floating around about a Ghostland Observatory and Snoop collaboration.

Tickets to Pacific Festival are on sale now. Limited advance general admission tickets are available for $75 plus applicable fees. VIP and VIP hosted bar tickets are also available for between $125 and $175. Perks include separate express entry to the festival; access to the VIP lounge with shade, seating, massage services and more; VIP food concessions; complimentary appetizers, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages; and exclusive viewing areas.
One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to Surfrider to help protect California’s coastline.
