Chicago’s version of Riot Fest takes place Oct. 5-9 at a number of Windy City venues including Congress Theater, Bottom Lounge, Cobra Lounge and Double Door.
Weezer, Social Distortion and Descendents top the bill. Festival organizers promise that one more “major headliner” will be announced June 24. The lineup also features X (playing their 1980 debut Los Angeles), Youth Of Today, The Suicide Machines, ALL, Helmet, D Generation, Down By Law, The Business, Strike Anywhere, The Tossers, Macabre, The Menzingers, Strike Anywhere, Shot Baker, Larry And His Flask, The Holy Mess, The Van Buren Boys, and more.
Before rocking Chicago, Descendents will headline Philadelphia’s Riot Fest, which takes place Sept. 24 at Festival Pier. Philly’s lineup also includes X (playing Los Angeles), The Suicide Machines, The Menzingers, Shot Baker, Larry And His Flask, and The Holy Mess.
In addition, fans will hear from The Dead Milkmen, Plow United, Hot Water Music, Naked Raygun, Samiam, Weston, Excitebike, and more.
Tickets for both events go on sale June 24 local time. Festival passes for Chicago’s Riot Fest are priced between $135 and $145. Tickets for Philadelphia’s edition will set you back $34.50.
