Machine Head To Plague Europe

11:01 AM Thursday 6/23/11 |   |

The seven plagues detailed in Revelations evidently aren’t enough for Machine Head. The heavy metal band will inflict its “Eighth Plague” tour on Europe beginning in early November.

It’s beginning to look as if Machine Head will be a perpetual touring machine during the second half of 2011. On the road with Disturbed and Godsmack on the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival July 9 through Aug. 14, the band joins Australia’s Soundwave Revolution tour Sept. 24 through Oct. 3.

The Euro run kicks off a month after Australia, beginning in Oslo, Norway, at Sentrum Scene Nov. 2. Other stops include Stockholm, Sweden, (Nov. 3); Helsinki, Finland (Nov. 6); Vienna, Austria (Nov. 12); Madrid, Spain (Nov. 16); Zurich, Switzerland (Nov. 21); Munich, Germany (Nov. 25); and Brussels, Belgium (Nov. 29).
