Break Time For Peas?

04:01 PM Tuesday 7/12/11 |   |

During a recent Black Eyed Peas concert in England, Fergie said it would be some time before BEP performs in that country again, hinting that the group might be taking a break.

Fergie made the remarks during The Peas’ show in Staffordshire at Alton Towers.

“This will be the last time we’ll be performing in England for a long time,” Fergie told the crowd.

Peas member will.i.am later clarified Fergie’s remarks via Twitter, saying the group “will take a break after The Beginning…just like we did from Monkey Business to The E.N.D…but it doesn’t mean we stop creating.”

But that break could come later rather than sooner. The Black Eyed Peas still have dates on the books, including an appearance in Spain at Madrid’s Estadio Vicente Calderon this Thursday evening as well as a July 30 gig in Columbia, Md., at Merriweater Post Pavilion and the newly announced iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Sept. 23.
