Heat Wave Sidelines Loretta Lynn

12:01 PM Thursday 7/14/11 |   |

Heat exhaustion and dehydration have forced a few changes in Loretta Lynn’s touring schedule.

The country music icon was scheduled to play the MGM Grand At Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn., Friday night as well as the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, Penn., Saturday and the Jamboree In The Hills festival in Morristown, Ohio, Sunday.

However, Lynn’s current medical woes brought about by 100-plus degree temperatures in parts of Tennessee resulted in a hospital stay, forcing her to cancel her Foxwoods and Jamboree appearances and reschedule her American Music Theatre engagement to August 1.
