The Bright Eyes tour keeps on growing as the band adds new shows for California, New Mexico, Nevada and Washington.

Comprised of core members Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott along with extra musicians, Bright Eyes released its first new album in three years, The People’s Key, in February. Since then the band has been a perpetual touring machine. It wrapped up its second trip to Europe only last week and begins another U.S. leg with a show in Lewiston, N.Y., July 27.

The newly scheduled shows are Albuquerque, N.M., at Sunshine Theatre Sept. 19; San Diego’s SOMA Sept. 21; Los Angeles at Hollywood Forever Sept. 23; Las Vegas at the Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan Sept. 24; Santa Barbara, Calif., at the Santa Barbara Bowl Sept. 25; Reno, Nev., at the Knitting Factory Concert House Sept. 26; and Seattle at the Paramount Theater Sept. 28.

Kurt Vile & The Violators appear on all new dates except Los Angeles and Seattle.

The presale for Santa Barbara began today and presales for Albuquerque, Las Vegas and Seattle launch tomorrow. The public onsales begin July 22 except for Santa Barbara which begins Sept. July 23. Check out ConorOberst.com for more information.
