ACL Aftershows Go Up This Week

What are you going to do when the music stops at the end of the day at the Austin City Limits Music Festival Sept. 16-18? Go to the ACL aftershows, of course.

Featuring artists appearing at ACL playing the city’s legendary live music venues, the ACL aftershows go on sale to the general public July 28. But you’ll need a ‘net connection because sales are online only.

Who’s playing? Acts such as North Mississippi Allstars, Bright Eyes and Iron & Wine, to drop a few names.

For example, North Mississippi Allstars play Antone’s Sept. 15; Bright Eyes appear at Stubb’s Outdoors Sept. 17 and Iron & Wine with My Morning Jacket’s Yim Yames perform at Stubb’s Outdoors Sept. 18.

Other acts down for some late-night action include Empire Of The Sun, Gary Clark Jr., Old Crow Medicine Show, The Head And The Heart, The Lee Boys, Fitz & The Tantrums, Manu Chao, Skrillex, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Phosphorescent and Wild Beasts.
