Five Finger Death Punch Coming At You

01:01 PM Monday 8/1/11 |   |

This fall Five Finger Death Punch will headline the “Share The Welt Tour” with help from All That Remains, Hatebreed and Rev Theory.

The heavy metal band is touring in support of its upcoming third studio album, American Capitalist. The album, which is due out Oct. 11, will have a lot to live up to as the group’s first two albums, 2009’s War Is The Answer and 2007’s The Way of the Fist, are both RIAA-certified Gold. Fans can download the first single from American Capitalist, “Under And Over It,” when it hits iTunes on Tuesday.

The fall tour begins Oct. 16 in San Francisco at Warfield Theatre. Dates have been scheduled through a Nov. 2 gig in Oklahoma City at Diamond Ballroom.

Additional stops sharing the heavy metal wealth include Medford, Ore., at Medford Armory (Oct. 17); Magna, Utah, at The Great Saltair (Oct. 19); Boise, Idaho, at Taco Bell Arena (Oct. 25); Reno, Nev., at Knitting Factory Concert House (Oct. 26); and Little Rock, Ark., at Clear Channel Metroplex Event Center (Nov. 1).

More dates will be announced in September.

Before kicking off the tour 5FDP will make rounds at a number of North American festivals including Carnival Of Madness in Twin Lakes, Wis. (Aug. 13); Rock On The Range Canada in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Aug. 20); PDX Rock Fest in Hillsboro, Ore. (Aug. 28); WXEG X-Fest in Dayton, Ohio (Sept. 18); and Epicenter Festival in Irvine, Calif. (Sept. 24).

VIP pre-sale packages for “Share The Welt” tour dates go on sale Wednesday through the band’s website. Tickets will be available to the general public this weekend.
