48 Hours Of Hedonism, Debauchery & Excess

02:01 PM Wednesday 8/3/11 |   |

It’s not going to be easy exceeding all the decadence Las Vegas is known for, but come mid-October the 48 Hours Festival is going to give it its best shot.

Proclaimed to be “the world’s biggest rock ‘n’ roll party weekend,” the 48 Hours Festival presented by Rockstar Energy Drink is set for Oct. 15-16 at the Luxor Festival Grounds across from the Luxor Hotel / Casino on the east side of Las Vegas Blvd.

Appearing on the 48 Hours main stage will be Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Godsmack, Three Days Grace, Five Finger Death Punch, Hollywood Undead, Bullet for My Valentine, Seether, Escape The Fate, Sevendust, Sick Puppies, 10 Years and Adelitas Way. Second stage acts include Hatebreed, Rev Theory, Black Tide, Art Of Dying, Eyes Set To Kill, Valora, Hell Or Highwater and Orange Blossom Special.

Capitalizing on the desert city’s famous anything goes attitude, organizers are framing the 48 Hours Festival as two days of what the city has in common with rock ‘n’ roll – “hedonism, debauchery and excess.” That may be the hype, but how many music festivals do you know of that provide transportation to a strip club?

By forming an exclusive partnership with Olympic Gardens, the 48 Hours Festival will give fans the rock star treatment, including free limo service to the club throughout the weekend plus admission to an exclusive late night party.

Of course, there are VIP opportunities. The festival’s “All Access” puts you on the stage for the bands and backstage for the bar. There are also private cabanas with bottle service and a VIP-only tent and bar.

You want tickets? Sure you do. The onsale begins Aug. 6 at 10 a.m. PDT. Visit 48HoursFestival.com for more information.
