Plain White T’s Announce Fall Tour

The Plain White T’s are getting ready to boomerang across the U.S. for their fall headline tour.

The rock band is celebrating their hit song “Boomerang,” which hails from the group’s latest album, Wonders of the Younger. The album was released in December on Hollywood Records.

“We are thrilled to be going back out on tour this fall to see all of our fans,” lead singer Tom Higgenson said in a statement. “We have some awesome acts on the road with us – it will be a great show!”

The fall road trip features The Summer Set, The Downtown Fiction and Allison Park. The fun begins Sept. 25 in Minneapolis at Fine Line Music Café. Dates are booked through a Nov. 1 gig in Blacksburg, Va., at Virginia Tech. University.

Additional stops include Denver’s Bluebird Theater (Sept. 29); Salt Lake City at Salt Lake Community College (Sept. 30); San Francisco at The Fillmore (Oct. 4); Los Angeles at El Rey Theatre (Oct. 7); Houston at House Of Blues (Oct.11); Atlanta at The Masquerade (Oct. 15); Covington, Ky., at Madison Theater (Oct. 16); and Chicago’s House Of Blues (Oct. 30).

The Plain White T’s have also lined up several support dates with Never Shout Never. Those shows include Philadelphia at Electric Factory (Oct. 19); Silver Spring, Md., at The Fillmore (Oct. 20); New York’s Terminal 5 (Oct. 21); House Of Blues Boston (Oct. 25); and Toronto at Kool Haus (Oct. 27).
