Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green To Honor Michael Jackson

03:01 PM Thursday 8/11/11 | |

Organizers of The Michael Jackson tribute concert began naming names today, saying Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Leona Lewis and Craig David will be among the performers appearing at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, come October.

Produced by Global Live Events and scheduled for Oct. 8, “Michael Forever – The Tribute Concert” will also include performances by Alien Ant Farm, Brit boy band JLS and, of course, The Jacksons.

Keeping it in the family, the tribute show will include a performance by 3T, the band made up of Tito Jackson’s three sons from his marriage to Delores “Dee Dee” Martes.

But not all Jacksons are on board for the show. Although family matriarch Katherine Jackson has endorsed the concert, her sons Randy and Jermaine Jackson have objected to the event taking place because it overlaps with the upcoming trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician accused of causing the King Of Pop’s death.

This Tribute concert started off on the wrong foot with a very convoluted ticket pricing. This is another Tribute that's taking a shot at capitalizing on Michael Jackson' s death without any shame. The trial is still going on, and as a diehard fan I'd say Justice before profits. What's the matter with the Jackson Family? They have become a runaway train, how can we trust them at this point? Joe Jackson has recently teamed up with a professional crook Julian Rouas to exploit Michael' s image with a new line of cheesy perfumes. Please Read:

Sounds like a decent arena show.  Too bad it's in a stadium and I'm guessing it will be vastly overpriced as is he Jackson family way.
