A Perfect Dozen For Smashing Pumpkins

The band lays down a 12-city tour beginning in L.A. during the first week of October.

The Smashing Pumpkins – singer/guitarist Billy Corgan, guitarist Jeff Shroeder, drummer Mike Byrne and bassist Nicole Fiorentino – are promising a run through the band’s catalog mixing classic songs and deep cuts with a few numbers from their upcoming album, Oceania, due out early next year.

Here’s the flight plan. Beginning in Los Angeles at the Wiltern Theatre Oct. 5, the tour plays Oakland, Calif. at the Fox Theatre Oct. 7; Las Vegas at The Cosmopolitan Oct. 8 and Denver’s Ogden Theatre Oct. 10.

Other stops include Milwaukee (Oct. 13); Chicago (Oct. 14); Detroit (Oct. 15); Washington, D.C. (Oct. 17); New York (Oct. 18); Providence (Oct. 19); Boston (Oct. 21); and Philadelphia (Oct. 22).

Tickets for Providence go on sale Aug. 18, Denver Aug. 20, Oakland Aug. 21 and Chicago Aug. 27. All other markets go up Aug. 19. Visit SmashingPumpkins.com for more information.
