The Dog Days Of Fall

02:01 PM Wednesday 8/17/11 | |

Dr. Dog fans will have plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving because the psychedelic rock band has announced a nice helping of November U.S. shows.

The group still has a few engagements to take care of this summer with several dates supporting Bright Eyes and a couple of festival appearances. The support dates include Providence, R.I., at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel (Aug. 30); Brooklyn, N.Y., at Williamsburg Waterfront (Aug. 31); and Poughkeepsie, N.Y., at Mid-Hudson Civic Center (Sept. 1).

On Sept. 3 Dr. Dog takes the stage at WHYY Connections Festival in Philadelphia in Festival Pier, followed by a Sept. 17 slot at HFStival in Columbia, Md., at Merriweather Post Pavilion.
