The group still has a few engagements to take care of this summer with several dates supporting Bright Eyes and a couple of festival appearances. The support dates include Providence, R.I., at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel (Aug. 30); Brooklyn, N.Y., at Williamsburg Waterfront (Aug. 31); and Poughkeepsie, N.Y., at Mid-Hudson Civic Center (Sept. 1).
On Sept. 3 Dr. Dog takes the stage at WHYY Connections Festival in Philadelphia in Festival Pier, followed by a Sept. 17 slot at HFStival in Columbia, Md., at Merriweather Post Pavilion.
The fall headlining tour kicks off Nov. 2 in Cleveland at Beachland Ballroom & Tavern. Dates are scheduled through a Nov. 16 show in Knoxville, Tenn., at Bijou Theatre.
In between the band will play Bloomington, Ind., at Bluebird Nightclub (Nov. 4); St. Louis’ Firebird (Nov. 5); Tulsa, Okla., at Cain’s Ballroom (Nov. 7); New Orleans at Tipitinas Big Room (Nov. 10); Charleston, S.C., at Music Farm (Nov. 14); and Athens, Ga., at 40 Watt Club (Nov. 15). Dr. Dog will also be at Orlando Calling Nov. 12 in Orlando, Fla., at the Citrus Bowl.
