12:01 PM Friday 8/26/11 | |

Why spend one night celebrating the coming of a new year when you can spend two? Dallas’ “Lights All Night” electronic music extravaganza does just that, with a little help from Tiesto, Girl Talk, Ghostland Observatory and more.

  • Girl Talk

Sweetlife Festival, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, Md.
    May 1, 2011

    (James P. Hendershot)

Happening Dec. 30 & 31 at the Dallas Convention Center, this year’s Lights All Night has also tapped Neon Indian, Diplo, Mstrkrft, RJD2, Exision and more for one of the biggest end-of-year blowouts in the known universe. The 18-and-over event promises state-of-the-art production, multiple stages and two main stages that organizers call “Dance” and “Bass” halls.

Here’s the schedule. Dec. 30 features Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Laidback Luke, Dada Life and Sandro Silva in the Dance Hall while at the Bass Hall it’s Diplo, Flux Pavilion, Excision, RJD2 and Archnemesis.

Girl Talk plays the Dance Hall Dec. 31 along with Ghostland Observatory, Wolfgang Gartner, Mstrkrft and Neon Indian. Pendulum will perform a DJ set at Bass Hall, topping a lineup that also includes Zed’s Dead, Porter Robinson, Felix Cartal and The M Machine.

Tickets go on sale Aug. 30 with a limited amount of early bird passes priced at $79 for a single night and $150 for both evenings.
