Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard To Blast U.K.

11:01 AM Tuesday 8/30/11 |   |

December temperatures in the U.K. are sure to spike as Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard spread their sonic mayhem throughout the land.

The two bands launch the road trip at Birmingham’s LG Arena Dec. 6. Other destinations on the touring include Nottingham at the Capital FM Arena Dec. 7; Glasgow’s SECC Hal 4 Dec. 9; Manchester Evening News Arena Dec. 11; Sheffield at the Motorpoint Arena Dec. 13; and London’s Wembley Arena Dec. 14.

Steel Panther appears on all dates.

While announcing the tour, Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx supplied a very quotable quote.

“Mötley Crüe is excited to do some destruction with long time peers Def Leppard on tour this holiday season. We have never toured together so hopefully there will be some de-virginizing of each others fans and in the end one f**king wild party together.”
