01:01 PM Monday 9/12/11 | |

Furthur has more than doubled its fall tour with three weeks of new dates booked throughout the East Coast and Midwest.

The band founded by The Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh and Bob Weir begins the fall trek with three nights in Eugene, Ore., at Cuthbert Amphitheatre Sept. 23-25. Previously announced dates are booked through a two-night stand Oct. 7-8 at the Monterey Co. Fairgrounds in California with additional shows in Montana, Utah, Colorado and Nevada.

The second leg kicks off Nov. 3 in Manchester, N.H., at Verizon Wireless Arena. The band then heads for Portland, Maine, at Cumberland Co. Civic Center Nov. 4.

The route also includes shows in Uncasville, Conn. (Nov. 5); Wilkes-Barre, Pa. (Nov. 5); Amherst, Mass. (Nov. 6); Charlottesville, Va. (Nov. 8); New York City (Nov. 10); Syracuse, N.Y. (Nov. 11); Atlantic City, N.J. (Nov. 12); Buffalo, N.Y. (Nov. 13); University Park, Pa. (Nov. 15); Columbus, Ohio (Nov. 16); Rosemont, Ill. (Nov. 18); Madison, Wis. I am afraid your info is wrong Furthur will NOT be playing in Uncasville, Conn. on Nov. 5th or at any point in their fall tour. However, on that date Furthur will be playing the Mohegan Sun Arena, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Remember, check dates twice and write your article once. ;-P
