Media stories about Mehdi’s death are somewhat conflicting with some outlets saying the DJ / Producer, whose real name was Mehdi Favéris-Essadi, fell off the roof of his Paris home, other reports indicate the roof might have collapsed while he was standing on it.
Mehdi was apparently celebrating the birthday of DJ Riton when the accident occurred, according to MTV.
Acts Mehdi had worked with include Daft Punk, Chromeo, and MC Solaar. He was on the lineup for Australia’s “Summadayze” festival, playing Melbourne, Perth and the Gold Coast in January.
