Springsteen, Stewart To ‘Stand Up For Heroes’

10:01 AM Thursday 9/15/11 |   |

New Jersey will be well represented at the fifth annual “Stand Up For Heroes” charity event in New York City as Garden State natives Bruce Springsteen and Jon Stewart appear alongside Indiana’s Jim Gaffigan and Britain’s Ricky Gervais.

Presented by The Bob Woodruff Foundation and The New York Comedy Festival, the event to raise money for military families takes place Nov. 9 at the Beacon Theatre.

There are two ways you can roll on this high-priced benefit. You can purchase one of the high-priced sponsorships such as the $10,000 “Purple Heart” option that includes five tickets and acknowledgement in the event’s printed and electronic media events.

The top-of-the-line offering is simply called the “Title Sponsorship” package and includes 125 premium tickets, acknowledgement from the stage, marquee placement “on step and repeat on the red carpet,” event signage, VIP ticket exposure and a full-page ad in the Stand Up printed program. All this and more can be yours for only $250,000.

But if the sponsorship packages are a little out of your price range, you can purchase individual tickets starting at $100 and topping off at $2,500 for this very worthy cause. Visit The Bob Woodruff Foundation’s website for more information.
