The rock band spent the summer touring the U.S. in support of the group’s sixth album, Circuital. The album was released in May as the follow-up to 2008’s Evil Urges. The summer routing also included a few shows in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Jim James and the gang will return to the U.K., in November for a European leg scheduled Nov. 2-19. The tour also includes dates in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and Norway.
The new U.S. dates begin Dec. 1 in Los Angeles at Gibson Amphitheatre At Universal CityWalk. Additional dates include shows in San Francisco (Dec. 2); Tulsa, Okla. (Dec. 6); Grand Prairie, Texas (Dec. 7); Houston (Dec. 8); Boca Raton, Fla. (Dec. 10); Orlando, Fla. (Dec. 11); and Greensboro, N.C. (Dec. 12). The leg wraps up Dec. 14 in New York City at Madison Square Garden Arena.
The tour features Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings (Dec. 1-2), Delta Spirit (Dec. 6-12) and Band Of Horses (Dec. 14).
Fans can also catch MMJ performing Oct. 21 at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Music & Food Festival in Charleston, S.C., at Blackbaud Stadium.
Tickets for the December shows went on sale to My Morning Jacket’s Roll Call fan club today. The band’s mailing list pre-sale begins Tuesday. Tickets go on sale to the general public this weekend.
