01:06 PM Thursday 9/22/11 |   |

Fans will know where to mark the Xs in their planners for all of their favorite acts now that Treasure Island Music Festival has announced its 2011 daily schedules.

The festival, which is presented by Noise Pop and Another Planet Entertainment, takes place Oct. 15-16 on Treasure Island. The man-made island is located off the coast of Yerba Buena Island in the San Francisco Bay between San Francisco and Oakland.

The event features dance/electronic acts the first day with the second devoted to indie rock bands. Set times are staggered between the Bridge and Tunnel stages so fans can enjoy uninterrupted music all weekend with no two performances at the same time.

On Saturday the Bridge Stage will kick off with a set from Georgrapher (12 p.m.) followed by Shabazz Palaces (1:30 p.m.), The Naked And Famous (3 p.m.) Dizzee Rascal (4:35 p.m.), Chromeo (6:15 p.m.), Cut Copy (7:55 p.m.) and Empire Of The Sun (9:35 p.m.)

Aloe Blacc will get things started on the Tunnel Stage (12:45 p.m.) followed by performances from Yacht (2:15 p.m.), Battles (3:45 p.m.), Buraka Som Sistema (5:25 p.m.), Flying Lotus (7:05 p.m.) and Death From Above 1979 (8:45 p.m.).

Sunday’s Bridge Stage lineup includes Death Cab For Cutie (9:20 p.m.), Explosions In The Sky (7:40 p.m.) Beach House (6 p.m.) Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks (4:20 p.m.) St. Vincent (2:50 p.m.) The Antlers (1:25 p.m.) and Thee Oh Sees (12 p.m.).

The Tunnel Stage will feature performances from The Hold Steady (8:30 p.m.), Friendly Fires (6:50 p.m.) The Head And The Heart (5:10 p.m.) Wild Beasts (3:35 p.m.), Warpaint (2:05 p.m.) and Weekend (12:40 p.m.).

The lineup for the Treasure Island Music Festival Night Shows includes The Head and the Heart, JFK of MSTRKRFT, Thao With The Get Down Stay Down, and The Drums.

These gigs take place in San Francisco at The Independent Oct. 14-16 and the Mezzanine Oct. 15. Tickets to the night shows, which are sold separately from the Treasure Island tickets, are priced between $15 and $20.

General admission 2-day Treasure Island tickets are still available for $125. Single-day tickets are on sale for $69.50. VIP tickets are also available.

I don't need this schedule because I will see all these acts at the same time, whilst serving in a combat zone and living in my mothers basement in Las Vegas. Later I will wrestle some boys.
