Seeing Strait In 2012

There are always good times aplenty when George Strait comes to town and in 2012 he’s bringing Martina McBride with him.

Touring in support of his latest album, Here For A Good Time, Strait’s winter adventure begins in Lafayette, La., at the Cajundome Jan. 27.

Other dates are Bossier City, La., at the CenturyLink Center Jan. 28; Phoenix at U.S. Airways Arena Feb. 3; Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Feb. 4; Duluth, Ga., at The Arena at Gwinnett Center Feb. 10; Orlando’s Amway Center Feb. 11; Tulsa, Okla., at the BOK Center Feb. 16; St. Louis at Scottrade Center Feb. 17; Wichita, Kan., at the INTRUST Bank Arena Feb. 18; Des Moines, Iowa, at the Wells Fargo Arena Feb. 24; and Kansas City at the Sprint Center Feb. 25.

But if you can’t wait until early 2012 to catch the artist with the most No. 1 singles in music history, Strait will perform at “Fire Relief: The Concert For Central Texas” at Austin’s Frank Erwin Center Oct. 17 along with Willie Nelson, Dixie Chicks, Steve Miller Band, Joe Satriani, Christopher Cross and more.
