Thaw Out With Rascal Flatts

Now that Rascal Flatts has just about wrapped up all of its 2011 shows the country band can look forward to its winter tour. The new dates begin in January.

Rascal Flatts’ last announced gig of the year takes place Nov. 10 in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena as part of the CMA Country Christmas. The event, which is hosted by Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, features Rascal Flatts and other country stars performing classic holiday songs.

The winter tour, named “Thaw Out 2012,” kicks off Jan. 12 in Charleston, W.Va., at Charleston Civic Center Coliseum. Dates are scheduled through a Feb. 18 show in East Rutherford, N.J., at IZOD Center. The Thaw Out features special guest Sara Evans and opener Hunter Hayes

Additional stops include Hershey, Pa., at GIANT Center Jan. 14; Columbia, Mo., at Mizzou Arena Jan. 19; Albany, N.Y., at Times Union Center Jan. 26; Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall in New Jersey, Jan. 28; and North Little Rock, Ark., at Verizon Arena Feb. 11.

On May 27 Rascal Flatts will take the stage at the “Bayou Country Superfest” in Baton Rouge, La., at LSU Tiger Stadium.

Pre-sale tickets for the Atlantic City show go on sale Oct. 25. Tickets go on sale to the general public Oct. 29.

Tickets for “Bayou Country Superfest” go on sale Thursday. All other dates are on sale now.
