Cypress Hill’s annual event celebrating the wonders of cannabis has been pushed back until March.
The Smokeout was originally planned for Nov. 5, but those ol’ dreaded concert biz demons known as “scheduling conflicts” are being blamed for change of date. The new day is March 3, 2012 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, Calif.
Guerilla Union owner and founder Chang Weisberg posted an explanation on the event’s website saying more time was needed to “book the best possible show for our fans, artists and our patients.”
The posting also said fans who purchased early bird tickets in July will “be upgraded” on the new date and that purchasers should receive information shortly.
So far, the official Smokeout lineup consists of Cypress Hill and Sublime With Rome. Other attractions Smokeout fans have come to know and love, such as the Medical Marijuana Expo, the Patient’s Only Zen Garden and the Massive Munchie Garden, will return. Expect more activities, attractions and, most importantly of all, artists, to be announced soon.
