Fun Fun Fun Fest Announces Lineup Schedule

05:01 PM Wednesday 10/19/11 |   |

The most fun festival you’ll ever attend has rolled out its 2011 lineup schedule complete with set times. The FFF Nites aftershows lineup has also been finalized.

Fun Fun Fun Fest takes place Nov. 4-6 in Austin, Texas, at Auditorium Shores. The aftershows are scheduled Nov. 3-6 in various venues in Austin. The best part about FFF Nites? Festival ticketholders get into the shows for free.

“It’s exciting to be announcing our first ever 3 full day schedule times in conjunction with the first ever free FFF Nites for our ticketholders,” FFF Founder Graham Williams said in a statement.

“Once again, we are keeping things fresh and trying new ideas. That is what we are known for, and this is no different. Our goal is to keep things fun and to consistently deliver a unique and memorable experience every time fans come to this festival. In fact, we even have a few more surprises next week. Good times, good times.”

Friday’s lineup includes sets from Reggie Watts on the Yellow Stage (7:15-8 p.m.), Public Enemy on the Blue Stage (8:30-9:45 p.m.), Danzig Legacy on the Black Stage (8:15-9:45 p.m.), and Passion Pit on the Orange Stage (8:30-9:45 p.m.).

Saturday features performances from Spoon on the Orange Stage (8:30-9:45 p.m.), Lykke Li on the Orange Stage (7:25-8:25 p.m.), The Damned on the Black Stage (8:45-9:45 p.m.), Neon Indian on the Blue Stage (7:50-8:40 p.m.) and Neal Brennan on the Yellow Stage (5:45-6:10 p.m.).

On Sunday fans will hear from Slayer on the Orange Stage (8:15-9:45 p.m.), Blonde Redhead on the Black Stage (8:45-9:45 p.m.), Diplo on the Blue Stage (7:50-8:40 p.m.), and Henry Rollins on the Yellow Stage (7-8 p.m.).

The FFF Nites lineup features a long list of acts including Cobra Skulls, Dengue Fever, Mates of State, Ghost Knife, Passion Pit DJ set, The Thermals and Future Rock.

Tickets are still available. Three-day tickets are priced at $135 and single-day tickets are $55 each. Service fees and taxes are not included in the quoted prices.

Three-day ticketholders will have the chance to get into all four nights of the FFF Nites aftershows. Fans with single-day tickets can attend Thursday’s FFF Nite as well as the aftershow corresponding to the ticket purchased (for example, Friday ticketholders can attend Friday’s FFF Nite). The FFF Nites shows are subject to venue capacity and will allow fans in on a first come, first serve basis.
