Taking place at the same location that used to host the annual Rothbury festival, Electric Forest 2012 is set for June 28-July 1 at the Double JJ Resort Ranch near Rothbury, Mich.
So far organizers have only revealed dates and location but haven’t even hinted at a lineup. The inaugural Electric Forest featured headliners The String Cheese Incident and Tiësto and included performances by Stephen Marley, Kaskade, Railroad Earth and J.J. Grey & Mofro. The festival also introduced its “Saturday Afternoon Special.” Headlined by REO Speedwagon, the “Special” was described as a “mid-festival event within the event.”
Along with not announcing the lineup, organizers didn’t say anything about when tickets would go on sale. However, they did supply this nifty video.
