First Peek At SXSW

South By Southwest has rolled out its first round of band announcements for the 2012 conference including Grace Potter And The Nocturnals, Against Me!, and VHS or Beta.

SXSW Music and Media Conference takes place March 13-18 at over 80 various venues in downtown Austin, Texas. The Interactive Festival is slotted March 9-13 and the SWSW Film Conference and Festival is scheduled March 9-17.

The conference showcases roughly 2,000 musical acts from over 50 different countries.

The initial lineup also includes Delhi 2 Dublin, Fat Tony, He’s My Brother She’s My Sister, I Got You On Tape, The Parlotones, Shout Out Out Out Out, We Are The Ocean, Yuksek, The Zoltars, ANR, Big Deal, The Black Ryder, Mujeres, Talking To Turtles, and Rosie and Me.

The list is ridiculous. No really, look.

Fans can register for SXSW now. Badges are priced from $650 to $1095. After Nov. 11 the price will increase.
