Something Fearless

11:26 AM Friday 11/4/11 | |

So the Fearless Friends Tour is about to launch.

The tour, which kicks off Thursday in Hollywood, has blessthefallThe Word AliveMotionless In WhiteTonight Alive and Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!

The thing is, someone here in the office got an update from Fearless, announcing it had just signed Tonight Alive, which is from Australia and already established there. They’ve toured with acts like Owl City and Simple Plan, and they’re about to launch an EP stateside.

So we checked them out. The band’s pretty much pop-punk. Which is cool. But, along with writing silly-catchy music, it caught our attention because of a unique quality:

Its kickass frontwoman Jenna McDougall. Check it out:

That doesn’t mean acts like blessthefall shouldn’t get attention, too. That one, in particular, has made a lot of noise of late.

But still. There you go. The Fearless Tour wraps in Tempe, Ariz., Dec. 16. The full itinerary is here.

Ah, what the heck, here’s some more Tonight Alive:
