Jack’s Mannequin Announces 2012 Dates

Jack’s Mannequin has plotted another run of U.S. shows in support of the band’s third studio album, “People And Things.” 

The album was released in early October on Sire Records.

Last weekend Jack’s Mannequin wrapped up a five-week nationwide tour with a Nov. 12 gig in Pomona, Calif. If you missed the guys this fall you’ll have at least 16 more chances to see the group in North America January and February.

The 2012 tour begins Jan. 19 in St. Louis at The Pageant. The string of dates wraps with two shows in Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club Feb. 10-11.

Additional stops include Kansas City, Mo. (Jan. 20); Minneapolis (Jan. 21); Milwaukee (Jan. 23); Chicago (Jan. 24); Cincinnati (Jan. 27); Indianapolis (Jan. 28); Cleveland (Jan. 29); Toronto (Jan. 31); Portland, Maine (Feb. 2); Boston (Feb. 3); Philadelphia (Feb. 6); and New York (Feb. 8-9).

After that Jack’s Mannequin heads Down Under for several appearances at Australia’s Soundwave Festival Feb. 25 through March 5. The band will play Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

The band has also booked a few shows in Japan – Toyko’s Club Quattro March 12-13 and Osaka’s Club Akaso March 14.

Fans can tune in to ABC Dec. 5 to catch the band performing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

A pre-sale for the new U.S. dates is ongoing now. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday.
