Big Head Todd’s Big 2012 Plans

Big Head Todd & The Monsters are performing the band’s 1990 breakout album, “Midnight Radio,” in its entirety at select shows during an early 2012 club tour.

The rock band will end 2011 with a New Year’s Eve show at Chicago’s House Of Blues. Two weeks after that the group begins its 2012 schedule with its first Midnight Radio show Jan. 13 at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse. After playing Midnight Radio from beginning to end Big Head Todd will perform a second full set.

Additional Midnight Radio shows (which all include second sets) include New York City’s Irving Plaza Jan. 21; House Of Blues Boston Jan. 28; San Francisco at The Fillmore Feb. 11; Portland, Ore., at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom Feb. 17; Seattle’s The Neptune Feb. 18; and Austin, Texas, at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q March 3.

The 2012 tour also includes stops in Louisville, Ky. (Jan. 15); Philadelphia (Jan. 19); Washington, D.C. (Jan. 27); Milwaukee (Feb. 2); St. Louis (Feb. 4); Houston (March 2); Lake Buena Vista, Fla. (March 9); Charleston, S.C. (March 15); and Raleigh, N.C. (March 18).
