Voodoo For The Holidays

New Orleans’ “Voodoo Experience” music festival is launching its first-ever “Voodoo Holiday,” giving you the chance to purchase three-day passes for a price that won’t melt your wallet.

It almost goes without saying that 2012’s Voodoo Experience will take place during the last weekend in October. Always a Big Easy Halloween event, Voodoo is locked in for New Orleans City Park Friday through Sunday Oct. 27-28.

Beginning Wednesday, Voodoo fans can purchase weekend passes for as low as $77 per. But this time around you might get more than festival tickets. Along with Voodoo Holiday, the festival is launching its “10 Days Of Voodoo,” giving ticket buyers the chance to win a daily prize such as VIP upgrades, $100 gift certificates for Voodoo merch and $100 Basin Street Records shopping sprees.

Along with three-day general admission passes going for $77, Voodoo is also offering three-day LOA Lounge VIP weekend passes for $222. Add parking to that and the total comes to $266. For any purchase over $150, fans can take advantage of Voodoo EZ Pay that gives purchasers the opportunity to pay for their tickets in five equal payments.
